Lou Hermans joined Capital-E in September 2016 as partner. Lou is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and sold 2 successful companies, prior to joining Capital-E: In 2007, Lou co-founded CMOSIS, a company active in the image sensor business, where he was board member and EVP for Marketing and Sales until the acquisition by ams AG in December 2015.

Pascal Vanluchene

Pascal Vanluchene co-founded Capital-E after having held many positions in product marketing, business development, investment banking, strategy consulting and new venture formation mainly in the ICT sector. Pascal has both a corporate and entrepreneurial track record, having launched several new businesses, either within an established organization or from scratch. He is a semicon professional with prior deal making experience in research driven settings.

Marc Wachsmuth

Marc Wachsmuth co-founded Capital-E after being active as executive investment manager at one of the premier Belgian venture capitalists. Previously, he was active in the IT & mechanical industry in both Europe and Asia. He brings to Capital-E strong deal making, negotiation and transaction skills through his 17 years of private equity/venture capital experience, as well as a solid international industry and business development background.

Robert Jelski

Robert Jelski  has joined the team as an advisor and venture partner.  He has both extensive investment and industrial experience. Until recently and since 2000, Robert was sector head and partner in the global 3i venture team. Prior to that, he was divisional president and general manager within Danaher and Eurotherm in the UK and France. He started his career in HP’s R&D department and thereafter became National Semiconductor’s marketing manager for telecommunications in Europe.

Ruud van der Linden

Ruud van der Linden has joined the team as an advisor and venture partner. Ruud is currently CEO of Silicon Line. He was previously CEO, Chief Marketing Officer and board member of the Irish company RedMere, Senior VP at Asia Pacific for Freecom Inc, Senior VP for Philips Semiconductor where he was responsible for the Display Solutions Business Unit worldwide, located in Taiwan. Prior to that he was responsible for World Wide Marketing of Philips Semiconductor Logic IC’s, based in Silicon Valley. Ruud started his career at Philips in the Netherlands in 1984.
